Retail Links for every book

One short link for each book that sends every reader to the right shop for their country. Make a separate link for each place you share it, such as an ad, a post or a newsletter, and see which one sends the clicks.

The right shop for each reader

UK readers go to Amazon UK, US readers to Amazon.com, and so on. Type the ISBN or paste an Amazon address and we fill in the rest. Add other shops for the countries you care about.

Or let readers choose

Show a shop page with your book jacket and a button for each shop. Good for a book that is sold in lots of places, or for a link you share with readers in many countries.

Change it after it is printed

The short link stays the same, so a link in a printed book or on a poster keeps working. Edit where it goes whenever a shop address changes. Trial and full plans.

Dates and A/B tests

Make a link work only between two dates, for a launch week or a sale. Or split visitors between two shops and see which gets more clicks. Trial and full plans.

Keep campaigns tidy

Put links into groups, add notes, and add many links at once from a spreadsheet. Trial and full plans.

Warned if a shop link breaks

We check your shop links regularly and tell you when one stops working, so you can paste in the new address. Some shops, Amazon especially, refuse automated checks, so a missing warning does not prove every link works.

Bio Pages for your profile

One page for the link in your Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or X profile, with all your links on it. Readers find your books, your newsletter and your social profiles in one place.

Buttons that go anywhere

Send a button to any web address, or to one of your own Retail Links. Add headings between buttons to group them, and small social buttons under your bio.

Looks like you

Add your picture and bio, choose a theme, button style and font, and pick your own colours. Choose the order of your buttons on the trial and full plans.

Launch week buttons

Feature a button so it stands out, and set dates so it shows only for a launch week or a competition. Trial and full plans.

As many pages as you need

One page for each series or pen name, grouped as you like, each with its own look and numbers. The free plan has one page with up to five buttons.

A QR code for the page

Every published page has a QR code to download as PNG or SVG, for bookmarks, business cards and stands.

Numbers for every button

Page views and button presses for the last 7, 30 or 90 days, and where visitors came from, such as Instagram, TikTok or a QR code.

Event Pages for book tours and launches

Give every bookshop, journalist and reader one link for the whole tour. Each event shows the date, time, shop and town, with a button to the shop's own ticket page. When an event has passed it drops off the page by itself.

A launch box, pinned at the top

Put your launch event above everything else with its own picture and a live countdown to the start time. Swap the picture whenever you like. The box goes the day after the event.

The whole tour on one page

Every date in order, with a ticket link to each shop's own event page. Add a tour graphic, an author photo and the book jacket at the top, and website and newsletter buttons at the bottom. When the last event is over, send visitors on to your website or your latest book.

Tell readers what has changed

Tick Sold out, Postponed or Cancelled and it shows in bold next to the ticket button straight away. No need to rebuild the page or send a new link. Trial and full plans.

Get directions

Add the shop's full address and readers get a link that opens it in Google Maps. Nothing from Google loads on your page until someone presses it. Trial and full plans.

Easy to share

Every event has a Share link for Facebook, WhatsApp, X and email. The preview shows your tour picture and the event details, and people who open it go straight to the shop's event page. Trial and full plans.

See what it brings

Page views, QR code scans, ticket button presses, directions and shares, for the last 7, 30 or 90 days. Print the page's QR code on posters and shelf talkers.

Who it suits

Publicists

Send one link to bookshops, press and bloggers. Change a date, a time or a venue and everyone sees it at once.

Marketing teams

Use the page in ads, posts and newsletters, and a QR code in print. See which one brings people to the ticket pages.

Authors and publishers

A tidy page for a launch or a tour, in your own look, with no website to build. Free to try for two weeks.

Live Events for talks, signings and festivals

Put one QR code on the door or the screen. Guests scan it to check in, and can send in a question for the author. Your team reads every question first, and the interviewer only sees the ones you approve. Full and Team plans.

Check in with one scan

The check-in opens a set time before the start and closes when you say. Only people who have checked in can ask a question, so the room stays on topic. Guests can leave a name and email if they want to hear about the next event.

Questions your team approves

Moderators read each question, approve it or turn it down, and can reword it. In a room, the person asking says whether they will ask it themselves or want the interviewer to ask it.

A page for the interviewer

Approved questions, your notes for closing remarks, the time, the end time and the minutes left. Moderators can send a message that shows at the top, such as a ten, five or two minute warning.

Your shop on every page

Add your shop name, logo, colour and a link to your site. The check-in page, the question page and the staff pages all carry them. Add a photo of the author too.

Upvoting, if you want it

Switch on a list of approved questions that guests can vote for, so the same question is not asked twice. It is off until you turn it on.

Festivals with many sessions

Group sessions under one festival with shared branding, a programme page and combined numbers. Each session still has its own code and its own team.

Who it suits

Marketers

See how many people turned up, when they arrived and where from. Tag the event to a campaign and read it in the same report as your ads and links.

Publicists

Run a launch or a library talk with a moderator and an interviewer who can pass notes without the room knowing. Share the numbers with the publisher afterwards.

Creators

Take questions from a live audience for a podcast recording or a stream, and pick the best ones. Keep the people who want to hear from you again.

Bookshops

Put your own name and logo on the check-in, see who came through the door and run the evening without paper slips or a roaming mic scramble.

Festivals

One programme page for every session, shared branding, one place to see attendance across the whole festival, and a separate moderator for each room.

Ask for an account

See what is working

Every link, Event Page, Bio Page and QR code has its own numbers, for the last 7, 30 or 90 days.

Clicks and scans

How many people clicked, scanned or pressed a button, by day, so you can match a spike to a post or an ad.

Where and how

Country, region and city, device, system, browser or app, and time of day in UK time. Group links by campaign to compare them.

Kind to readers

No cookies for readers and no IP addresses stored. Clicks, views and scans are unlimited* on every plan. * Fair use applies.

Questions

What is findbook.co?

findbook.co is a service from Adventures With Words, a UK agency that helps books get seen, shared and sold. It gives each book one short link that sends readers to the right shop for their country, and adds Bio Pages, Event Pages, QR codes and tagged links, with numbers that show what is working.

How much does it cost?

There is a free plan. Every new account starts with a free two-week trial with everything switched on, and no card or payment is needed until the trial is up. The full plan is £9.99 a month, paid by card through Stripe. The Team plan is £49.99 a month and gives six logins (one team admin and five others) who all work on the same links, each with their own password and 2FA. The Team plan has no free trial. You can cancel at any time.

Can a team share one account?

Yes, on the Team plan. It has six logins in total: a team admin, who invites and removes people and looks after billing, and up to five others. Everyone sees and can change the same Retail Links, Bio Pages, Event Pages, QR codes and UTM links, and each person has their own password and compulsory 2FA. A short activity list shows who changed what.

Who is it for?

Authors, publishers, publicists, marketing teams, creators, bookshops and festivals. It works for a single self-published title or a whole list.

What are Live Events?

Live Events are for talks, signings and festival sessions. Guests scan one QR code to check in and can send in a question. Your team reads each question first, and the interviewer sees only the ones you approve. You can add your shop name, logo and colour, switch on voting, and group sessions into a festival. They are on the Full and Team plans.

Do I need a website?

No. A Bio Page gives you a page to put in your Instagram, TikTok or Facebook profile, and an Event Page gives a tour or launch its own page. You can also send readers straight to the shop with a short link.

Does it send readers in different countries to different shops?

Yes. A link can send UK readers to Amazon UK and US readers to Amazon.com, and so on, or show a shop page so readers choose. You can also send people who scan a QR code in different countries to different places.

Can I use it for a book tour or launch?

Yes. That is what Event Pages are for. Make one page for the tour with a date, time, shop, town and ticket link for each event. Pin your launch at the top with a countdown, mark an event sold out, postponed or cancelled when things change, and share any event to Facebook, WhatsApp, X or email. Events drop off the page the day after they take place. The free plan has one page with one event. The trial and full plan have as many as you need, and the launch box.

What happens when the two weeks are up?

You move to the free plan. You keep your links, Bio Pages, QR codes, numbers and history, and everything keeps working. You just cannot add more than the free plan allows until you move to the full plan.

Will my printed QR codes and links keep working?

Yes. Plain QR codes hold the web address themselves. Tracked codes and links keep working while your account is open, and you can change where they go without reprinting.

Do you track my readers?

We count visits by country, region, city, device type, browser and system. We do not set cookies for readers and we do not store their IP addresses.
